Behind The Mic
Eric began his professional career in the dot-com boom of the late 90’s after graduating from Full Sail University with a degree in Digital Media. He went on to be the Creative Lead at WildCard Systems, designing e-com websites and interactive training applications for the Fortune 500. He also collaborated with the CFO and Communications Director to design keynotes, sales presentations, and tradeshow displays. WildCard was eventually acquired for $228M in 2006.
During these years, he started ProtoFuse (Est. 2001) as an outlet for freelance work where he designed websites for anyone with $300 in their pocket. As he fine-tuned his craft and gained business acumen, he began to design custom-tailored websites and inbound marketing strategies for organizations such as Stanford University, Dixon Ticonderoga (remember the #2 pencil?), Carefree Communities (acquired in 2016 for $1.68B), and a handful of mid-sized B2B Tech companies. As he joyfully watched his clients scale, he began to narrow his focus even more so he could produce bigger results.
Today, he focuses exclusively on helping mid-sized B2B tech companies use digital marketing to help them grow revenue and improve their sales efficiency.
When not thinking about Tech, he spends as much time as possible with his wife and two young kids in Winter Park, FL. He attempts funny dunks on the weekend, sips bourbon with a splash of water, loves a good burger & into that whole CrossFit thing.
